NFC Predictions-2008

I start my 2008 NFL Predictions with the NFC. The NFC is probably considered to be weaker then the AFC. The big favorites coming into '08 are Dallas, New York, and Seattle. However, if you look at, there are some really good teams that are ready for a bounce back season.

NFC EAST
1- Philadelphia (11-5) Bounce back year for Andy Reid, Donovan McNabb and the Eagles.
2- Dallas (10-6) The Cowboys lose out on the division, but they earn a wild card berth.
3-New York Giants (10-6) Giants make the playoffs but will have to go on the road throughout again.
4- Washington (7-9) Year One of The Jim Zorn Era has some rough moments.

NFC NORTH
1-Chicago (10-6) Defense and Special Teams leads the Bears back atop the Division.
2-Green Bay (8-8) Too much pressure for Rodgers and McCarthy as Pack miss playoffs.
3-Minnesota (6-10) Tarvaris Jackson isn't the answer and Vikings disappoint.
4- Detroit (6-10) The end of the Rod Marinelli era in Detroit.

NFC SOUTH
1-New Orleans (11-5) Big year for the Saints. Could be the team to beat in the NFC.
2-Carolina (9-7) Good bounce back year for John Fox and Jake Delhomme, but Panthers just miss out of the playoffs.
3-Tampa Bay (7-9) Bucs won't repeat as Division Champs and have a real tough year.
4- Atlanta (3-13) Falcons are rebuilding and look to 2009.

NFC West
1-Seattle (11-5) Just the class of a really bad division. Holmgren's team repeats as division champs.
2-St. Louis (8-8) Scott Linehan saves his job for one more season.
3-Arizona (6-10) QB controversy proves to be too much for Cardinals.
4- San Francisio (4-12) No great options at QB probably sends Mike Nolan packing.

Playoffs:
1-Philly
2-New Orleans
3-Seattle
4-Chicago
5-Dallas
6-New York Giants
