Dennis Allen Named Defensive Coordinator
John Fox announced the remaining members of his staff yesterday. Dennis Allen has been named Denver's new defensive coordinator. Allen comes over from the New Orleans Saints, where he coached the secondary. The move has been applauded as a good move for Fox and the Broncos from people inside the league's circles. With the hire of Allen, expect the Broncos to go back to a 4-3 defensive front. Also, Denver hired Ron Milus as their defensive backs coach and Richard Smith as their linebackers coach.
