Broncos-Chargers Week 17 Preview

The Broncos enter Sunday's season finale with a lot on the line. A win would give them the AFC West and most likely the #2 seed in the AFC and bye in the first round. A loss could cost them the division and most likely a wild card game on the road next week. The Chargers come in at 4-10, with a team that is banged up and has nothing to play for. Why does this game scare me? First, the Chargers have Phillip Rivers, and when you have a guy like Rivers, you are never out of any game. Secondly, the Chargers had 10 days off since their last game on Christmas Eve, and the Broncos played a physical game on Monday night, so they only have had 5 days rest. That makes a big difference. Lastly, the 2015 Broncos never make anything easy. No matter who is playing at QB, the Broncos give their fans a heart attack every week, and their style of play is very conducive to low scoring, close games. I think they will find a way to win this game, but I expect another close one.

San Diego (+9) over DENVER:
Final Score: Broncos-20- Chargers-19
