A Fan's View On The Denver Broncos and The NFL

Last week's 34-26 win over the Packers in Denver was a chance for the Broncos to gain a little more national respect. The win propelled the Broncos to a 12-2 record, and they continue to hold onto the #1 overall seed in the AFC. It was also a chance for Bo Nix to gain some national respect as well. Nix played the best game of his career and threw for 4 TDs. It was such a huge performance on such a big stage for Nix. Now, Denver has to get themselves back up again to take on Jacksonville. The Jags are 10-4 and leading the AFC South. Trevor Lawrence is playing really well as of late. This is going to be a huge test for Denver because of the importance of this game and how well the Jaguars are playing. Denver has won 11 in a row, and I worry they are due for a letdown in this spot.
Prediction: Jacksonville (+3) over DENVER
Final Score: Jaguars-27 Broncos-26

The Broncos are 11-2 after their non-stressful, comfortable win over the Raiders in Las Vegas last week. Now, the hard part of the schedule arrives just in time for the holidays and the stretch run of the NFL season. Denver is fighting with the Patriots for the #1 seed in the AFC and also fighting with the Chargers for the AFC West. I have been watching the NFL for a long time, and I know that the standings and fortunes of each team can change a lot in the last four weeks of the year. The Broncos final four games include home games with the Packers and Jaguars, a trip to KC on Christmas night, and home finale against the Chargers. There is no easy game in that quartet. First up is Green Bay. The Packers are 9-3-1 and leading the NFC North. This will be the Broncos toughest test so far this season. Not only is Green Bay a talented team, but they are a NFC opponent, who Denver doesn't face very often. That can sometimes cause a lot of problems. Thankfully, the game is at home in Denver, where they have won 10 in a row, and the Broncos fans will be loud and fired up, but we do know that the Packers fans travel well. A lot of people feel that this is the week that the Broncos 10 game winning streak ends, and I tend to agree with them. I feel like this Packers team will do enough to give Denver problems on offense and enough to pull away with a win in the Mile High city.
Prediction: Green Bay (-2.5) over DENVER
Final Score: Packers-26 Broncos-9

The Broncos are 10-2 and leading the AFC West and fighting for the #1 seed in the AFC. They are coming off a thrilling 27-26 OT win over the Commanders in Washington. It was another close win that Denver pulled out. It doesn't matter if the national media thinks Denver isn't a good team, they are winning games. 10-2 is still 10-2. Bo Nix is still one of the most clutch QBs in the NFL. With that said, the Broncos head to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders this week. This will be a tough game. Denver won 10-7 over the Raiders a few weeks ago on TNF. At some point, Denver is going to get picked off in one of these games, and I could see it here.
Prediction: LAS VEGAS (+7.5) over Denver
Final Score: Raiders-23 Broncos-20
